Seagull – The Golden Chip

Oh dear, my seagulls are getting sillier. The Golden Chip is a slightly ritzy seagull. His beak is painted in gold, with metallic picks for the inside. The chip has very subtle metallic golden highlights. All this is to match his stunning white velvet fabric with golden speckles.

His eyes are resin taxidermy eyes. His  beak is cast from resin, and his chip is cast in polyurethane foam. His fancy plaque is made from resin, painted gold and aged.

Faux Taxidermy seagulls are mounted on a more traditional wooden plaque or an ornate frame. They have a keyhole type hanger set into the back. All you need is a hook, screw, or nail that is suitable for your wall to hang it on. I do supply a suitable screw.

They are made from high quality upholstery fabric scraps and swatch books. I use a variety of trims when needed to support any fragile edges. For some styles, I will fray the edges on purpose.

Dimensions are 140mm H x 80-95mmW (depending on frame type).  Projection from wall is 150mm D.
